Manchmal genügen bei dichten und flach anliegenden Haaren schon 8 mm lange Haare, um die Narbe zu überdecken. Bei dünnen oder leicht abstehenden Haaren kann eine Mindestlänge der Haare von 15-20 mm notwendig sein. Falls die Entnahmestelle etwas breiter ist, muss auch die Mindesthaarlänge dementsprechend gewählt werden.
